Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture (VKIC) invites contributions for its bi-annual publication 'Quest’. Introduced and being published since 2008, VKIC plans to re-introduce ‘Quest’ in a new form in January 2025.
Musings on our diversified unity, sustainable development, studies on multifaceted aspects – customs and rituals of tribes, traditional institutions, women, traditional health care systems, education, religion, in the context of Northeast region of India, are some of the aspects the Quest focuses on.
The forthcoming January 2025 issue invites articles, field notes/observations, book reviews, interviews with traditional community leaders on the above-mentioned themes. The authors however could relate their contributions to any aspects of culture of the Northeast region.

You may be aware that established in 1993, VKIC is committed to understanding the rich diverse culture of the Northeast region of India and the unifying elements that bind us.
The Institute disseminates documented work on the rich culture of the region through its bi-annual publication 'Quest', introduced in 2008. We now propose to re-introduce ‘Quest’ in a new form in January 2025.
